PROJECT NOTES
Completed in Fall 2008, this Club regrassed all 20 of its putting surfaces to A1 bentgrass while completely rebuilding five of the more severely sloped greens. The surrounds of each green were also lowered and reconfigured with steep, grass-faced bunkering, giving them the elevated appearance associated with the style of renowned architect William Langford. This same spirit was incorporated in the diagonal fairway bunkering that was added or revised to improve the strategic values on each hole relative to modern playing equipment. Overall, the renovation here was a huge success and the Club's membership numbers have benefited as a result.

PREVIOUS NOTES
A highly reputed Milwaukee club with ties to the acclaimed William Langford, Westmoor Country Club has been updating its layout with the help of LGD since the late 1990s. In an effort to complement Langford’s style, bunkers have been renovated to a deep, steep, grass-faced fashion, and replaced in strategic locations that reflect current ball and club technologies. The next project at WCC includes the re-grassing of all 18 greens, several tee adjustments, and completing the remainder of the bunker re-dos. The Club’s forward thinking approach and LGD’s creative design skills are proving a great alliance in the battle to ensure Westmoor’s future place atop the industry.
